Combatting misconceptions in a pandemic

Along with the rest of the world, my 2020 on did not go as planned. However, amidst all the sudden changes, I was lucky enough to be tasked with taking the excellent reporting from those at FactCheck.org and put it in video form to help counter misconceptions about science.

The Annenberg Public Policy Center operates with the slogan: “research and engagement that matter.” Most of my job would fall under the “engagement” umbrella. That remains true for this project – I’m turning research and reporting into videos and developing a brand and identity. But the demands of our work has seen me doing research as well. This project has required me to learn new tools to effectively monitor and scan sites for relevant content, managing project elements, and organizing data.
